Where have I been?

Happy Summer!  Where have I been?  Well, it's Summer and I've been on a three week break from school.  I went back to school (University) at the beginning of this year, hence the reason for my absence, so that is why I haven't been blogging lately.  I really need to be better about keeping in touch though.  So update: I've tried lots of new products since the beginning of the year and have a few favorites.  I'm going to attempt to film a seasonal empties video and a favorites video for Youtube, and will also blog about them in the next few days before school starts, so stay tuned.  I hope you are all doing well, talk to you soon! xoxo

~Favorite Drugstore Foundation of the New Year~

Happy New Year everyone! It's been awhile since I've made a blog post, but so much has happened I haven't had the time to write.  We went on a cruise during Christmas, and came home to a flooded Living Room.  Our dog decided to turn the hose on, and when he did that it seeped into the LR, flooding our carpet and such.  Needless to say, it hasn't been pleasant having a bare and echo-y living room.  Oh I remember the days when after dinner I could just kick off my shoes and relax in front of the TV.  Now, we've all resorted to watching movies in our own little corners of the world. I Will keep you posted on the progression of our LR.
On a lighter note I'm also taking more classes at UNM this spring and have been busy planning my schedule. So now that I've rambled for awhile, without further ado, my favorite drugstore foundation since December has been: drum roll...blblblblblb (that's a drum roll sound) the Revlon Color Stay Makeup for Combination/Oily skin.  *This foundation is weightless, flawless and does last a very long time. The packaging says it lasts 24 hours, but I wouldn't know because my partying days have been over for quite some time and you should always take off your makeup before bed time anyway.  It looks good from the time I apply it in the morning at 6am to at least 10pm at night. That's a big one for me, other foundations I've tried in the past have made me look like I did hot yoga for lunch.

*I love the way it looks and feels.  I've been applying it with a Sephora Pro Flawless Airbrush #56.  "The brush head is densely packed with short, synthetic bristles, ideal for building coverage in layers until you’ve reached your desired finish."  I think this brush outperforms a stipling brush by far.  These two products will be definitely be making the list for my January favorites, so look out for that at the end of the month.  What is your favorite drugstore foundation?
