Lipstick dates back 5000 years to ancient Mesopotamia when crushed semi-precious jewels were applied to the lips to achieve shades ranging from bright red to deep purple. While this seasons hottest color, ruby red, could be created the old-fashioned way. However, I suggest you stick with lipstick in a tube, and better yet to get a flawless application, apply it with a lip brush.
