Favorite June/July Mascara!

My favorite mascara as of June/July is the FAIRYDROPS Scandal Queen, $24 from Sephora.  It's a Japanese mascara, and I have to say it has been the best water, sweat, humidity resistant mascara I've ever used.  I don't really like waterproof mascara except on my bottom lashes. This one is fairly easy to take off; soap and water is all you need. The wand is also very cool.

NEW Youtube channel! CybertaBeauty

Hey everyone,

This is my first youtube video, and I filmed it with my daughter.  I'd thought I'd do my first video on a beauty HAUL, because we just went shopping, and it seemed like a fun first video.  We were going to edit it, but decided not to.  It was fun making it, and we had a few laughs, as you will see if you watch.  Again, it was our first video, so we will improve on camera, lights, editing, etc...the more we film.  So I hope you enjoy and let us know what you think!

Thank you,

Roberta

Current skin care routine

Hello everyone, sorry I've been slacking on my blog lately. If you follow my other blog, Fablooz.com, you know that I have been vacationing and organizing everything. Trying to contain all of the chaos around me. This week I have a new blog post for you, an updated skin care routine that I have been loving. I recently purchased a Clairsonic Mia, I know, took me this long to jump on the bandwagon. I absolutely love it! Step 1. Remove makeup with the Simple or Yes to Cucumber makeup wipes, avail at drugstores. Step 2. Dampen face and Clairsonic Mia with warm water, and cleanser of choice and gently massage all areas of face, per directions. Step 3. Wash entire face, I'm currently using Philosophy's Purity Made Simple, $10.00-49.50, Sephora. Step 4. Apply toner, I use the Bobbi Brown Hydrating Face Tonic, $28. Step 5. Next I mix a scoop of Philosophy Turbo Booster C Powder, $35, with the Bobbi Brown Vitamin Enriched Face Base, $52. I don't apply a primer, because all of Bobbi's moisturizers have primer in them. Step 6. I apply Bobbi Brown Hydrating Eye Cream, $46.00. Step 7. The last step is the most important. I apply a sunscreen. Right now I am using Lancome's Bienfait UV Spf 50+ Facial Sunscreen, $38.00. I love it. I was using your run of the mill drugstore sunscreen, but didn't like it because it felt too greasy on my skin when applying and gritty when it started to dry. The Lancome sunscreen is light and is matte, which I love. Please let me know what you think. I can also recommend drugstore products that work well. Thanks everyone, talk to you soon!

Must have lip!

My must have lip treatment right now is the Sugar Rose Tinted Lip Treatment SPF 15 by FRESH, $22.50, Sephora.

This product is a sheer rose-tinted lip moisturizer that hydrates, repairs, and protects lips. Not to mention it smells good, and it gives a just bitten color to your lips. Bella wore it on her wedding day to Edward. No pun intended. Very subtle, but very pretty!

Some more moisture please!

I live in a dry climate, and during the winter months my face can become very dry. I drink tons of water and exfoliate, and even that isn't enough sometimes. I've tried the least expensive products to the most expensive products and I have to say...even though the coveted La Mer and Kinerase $100+ feel luxurious, I've had better results with the least expensive.
My recent moisturizer purchase proved to be less expensive but more luxurious...maybe it was the price:) CeraVe Facial Moisturizing Lotion PM, $12.99 drugstore.com is a nighttime mositurizer, developed specifically for the face, which helps repair damaged skin and maintain the skin's natural protective function with ingredients not commonly found in other moisturizers.

Winter Blues

It's getting cold and winter is just around the corner. Our skin tends to get dry and flaky, but with a few simple steps, you can battle that croc!

1. Dry brush or dry exfoliate your skin before you shower. I like KP Duty Body scrub by Derma Doctor, Sephora $44. Use this 2-3 times a week, spacing out the days in between. (This scrub helps with body acne, chicken skin bumps, shaving bumps, ingrown hairs, etc...)

2. Moisturize with a creamy lotion. I don't have a specific lotion, but I do mix in a few drops of sesame oil or vitamin E oil into the lotion.

3. Drink lots of water. I cannot stress this enough.

4. Sweat at least once a day. This will release the toxins in your body that will make your face and body glow.

5. Drink green tea. It's a super antioxidant!
